PCB-mounted chokes
SMA Magnetics offers custom-design components mounted directly to the PCB.
Depending on the application, chokes are used to reduce current ripple and suppress interference.
Application in DC and AC converters in the main power circuit, but also as common-mode chokes for suppression of high-frequency interferences. Resonant chokes both as main chokes in resonant power converters and as resonant chokes in auxiliary circuits e.g. for commutation purposes.
